Our Story
Who we are
The Kamloops Therapeutic Riding Association (KTRA) has been a pillar of support for individuals with medical diagnoses in the Thompson-Nicola Regional District since 1988. We are dedicated to enhancing the cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well-being of our riders through adaptive horseback riding.
We recently moved to Koalrock Equestrian — a beautiful nearly 18-acre property located 8 minutes past Rivershore Estate and Golf Links on Shuswap Rd. For the first time in our history, we have a covered indoor arena, which means no more weather cancellations and four full sessions per year instead of two.
